1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

• "Service" refers to the FlexiDoc PDF conversion platform and API
• "Company" refers to FlexiDoc Inc.
• "User" refers to individuals or entities using our Service
• "Content" refers to documents, files, and data processed through our Service
• "Subscription" refers to paid plans for accessing our Service

2. Use of Service

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. By using our Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2.2 Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• You are responsible for all activities under your account

2.3 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our Service to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Process malicious or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

3. Subscriptions and Billing

3.1 Subscription Plans

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
• Plan features and limits are as described on our pricing page
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice

3.2 Payment Terms

• All payments are processed through Stripe
• You authorize automatic recurring payments
• Payments are non-refundable except as required by law
• Failed payments may result in service suspension

3.3 Free Trial

Free trials, when offered, are limited to one per user/organization. At the end of the trial, your account will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Our Property

FlexiDoc and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by FlexiDoc Inc. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

4.2 Your Content

• You retain all rights to your Content
• You grant us a limited license to process your Content for service provision
• We do not claim ownership of your Content
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to process the Content

5. API Terms

5.1 API Usage

• API access is subject to rate limits based on your subscription
• You must not share API keys or credentials
• Excessive API usage may result in temporary suspension
• We reserve the right to modify API specifications with notice

5.2 API Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using FlexiDoc, you consent to our collection and use of information as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

• Uploaded documents are automatically deleted after processing
• We comply with applicable data protection regulations
• You are responsible for compliance with laws governing your Content

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlexiDoc Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, or use
• Business interruption
• Procurement of substitute services
• Any damages exceeding fees paid in the past twelve months

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FlexiDoc Inc. and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Violation of these Terms
• Violation of any third-party rights
• Your Content or activities

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Termination does not entitle you to refunds for unused subscription periods.

10.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Non-payment of fees
• Suspected fraudulent or illegal activity
• Extended period of inactivity

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or prominent notice on our Service at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other agreements expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and FlexiDoc regarding the Service.
